1. Agreement to These Terms

These Website Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Ratshie (Pty) Ltd (ratshie.co.za) and every quote, enquiry, booking, order or purchase you make with us. By browsing this site, requesting a quote, booking a service or placing an order you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Ratshie (Pty) Ltd is a private company registered in South Africa and our services are supplied under South African law, in particular the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA), the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

2. About Our Services

We offer vehicle spare parts, filters, oils and lubricants, a fast-and-fair way to request quotes, mobile and workshop servicing and repairs within our service area around Kuruman, Northern Cape, and delivery of orders to your address. The delivery fee and estimated delivery time are shown at checkout and with your order confirmation, and may be updated from time to time.

3. Quotations, Prices and Payment

• Quotes are provided free of charge. A written quote we issue stays valid for the period stated on it, unless withdrawn earlier.
• Prices are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT. We work hard to keep the site accurate, but if a price on the site is clearly wrong we may correct it and will tell you before charging.
• Delivery is calculated on our side and shown at checkout before you pay. The standard delivery fee is charged once per order, and each product with a custom delivery fee adds its own fee once. Adding more of the same product does not multiply the delivery charge, and it is never added after you have ordered.
• Payment is collected through PayFast, our secure payment gateway. Your order is only confirmed once we receive successful payment authorisation.

4. Our Right to Refuse or Cancel

We may decline or cancel an order, quote or booking where information is inaccurate, stock or parts are no longer available, the order or request is incomplete, or where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse or that accepting the order would break the law. If we cancel and you have already paid, we refund the full amount to the original payment method without undue delay.

5. Your Obligations

When you use this site you agree to:

• Provide accurate, up-to-date contact and vehicle details so our quote, booking and delivery are correct.
• Ensure you are entitled to the vehicle/parts you ask us to work on or supply.
• Not misuse the site, attempt to interfere with it, or provide false or misleading information.
• Keep your account login, if any, safe and let us know immediately if you suspect unauthorised use.

6. Your Rights as a Consumer (CPA)

Nothing in these Terms takes away the rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act. In particular, you are entitled to good-quality goods and services, accurate information about prices and availability, and the cooling-off, return and refund rights described in our Refund & Returns Policy. If there is ever a conflict, your rights under the CPA take precedence.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this site — names, logos, text, images, layout and code — belongs to Ratshie (Pty) Ltd or its licensors and is protected by South African law. You may not copy, reproduce, republish or resell it commercially without our written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

We do our best to keep the site accurate, available and secure, but we provide it on an “as is, as available” basis and are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for delays or failures outside our reasonable control (for example courier or payment-gateway outages, extreme weather, or supplier delays). Nothing in this clause limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for gross negligence or fraud.

9. Privacy and POPIA

Our collection and use of your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms. By using this site you confirm that you have read it.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the law or our services. When we do, we will show the updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of the Northern Cape have jurisdiction over any disputes.
